Frances says December 23, 2009 at 12:01 pm Hi Jackie, those do look like candy canes! One thing I miss about Houston is being able to grow the amaryllis in the ground outside, although they bloomed in spring. Have the best of holidays!
Nell Jean says December 23, 2009 at 2:56 pm How tall is Mini Fanfare? Would it look good in a planter with a tall red or a tall white?
Jacqueline D'Elia says December 23, 2009 at 5:04 pm Tall white I guess. It only grows about 12″ tall which is perfect for small pots. You do not have to worry about them toppling over.
Grace says December 24, 2009 at 12:33 am Hi Jackie~~ The colors are rich. All the more so during this non-blooming season, don’t you think? Merry Christmas!
Jacqueline D'Elia says December 25, 2009 at 1:32 pm Yes, I do. They are at my front door in an old copper pot. Merry Christmas Grace.
