Planning a new garden

Written by Jackie D'Elia  |  Published on May 19, 2023Leave a Comment

It’s been two years at the new house and I’m finally getting time to complete a small garden in the backyard. It started with a border bed of perennials behind the house. I used a garden hose to outline the shape and hired a landscape crew to remove the sod and create a bed.

I’d been saving the Japanese maple in a container for the past year, and it finally got in the ground.

This was how the garden looked in the spring of 2021. Lots more to do and I’ll continue with another post.
