Macro Monday: The Bees Have It

Written by Jackie D'Elia  |  Published on October 18, 2010

October in Houston means slightly cooler weather, and many of our flowering vines and perennials, that were dormant in the hot summer, come into bloom. The bees love this time of year and so far, the honey bees and bumble bees seem to be tolerating each other. With the Salvia and Coral Vine in full bloom, there’s room for everyone.

    Best bees of the year!
And of course I am ever so envious of weather and flowers like that in October.

Thanks! I actually bought a macro lens, which I use a lot on this camera.
